Taken about a week ago.

It is nearly fall and I am doing some desultory yard work, while I walk my cat. This sweet nest is only a foot off the ground. I was trimming the invading holly from the bush, but I stop when I find the nest. It is tucked just under the holly, clearly protected.

Taken yesterday in a friend’s garden.
I am going to mix transfer photographs and new ones.

Previously on drkottaway in June 2024.
For Cee’s Flower of the Day.
I have not figured out how to migrate the posts, so I am currently moving them manually, one by one.
Blessings.

Ooops. It’s not a water lily. It is a lotus.
-
Not really a flower. But still beautiful.

Happy bees -
I am migrating all of my Flower of the Day posts from my original blog, https://drkottaway.com/, because I need more room for photographs.
I am going to try migrating them in batches. Wish me luck!
I love taking photographs.
This is in memorium for Cee, of https://ceenphotography.com/category/flower-of-the-day/. I can’t find it any more. Sigh.
